Our goal was to position Symantec as the company that can protect your enterprise from the threat of viruses, hackers and cyber terrorists. To achieve this, we created a visual metaphor, the Symantec "People in Yellow", that suggests the United States Secret Service but instead wears the Symantec's corporate color. The People in Yellow defend enterprises of all kinds and sizes from online threats, and are a powerful icon that's distinctive and ownable.

iTunes
Apple's "Think Different." philosophy led the brand to champion the digital music community and the MP3 format through it's innovative easy to use iTunes software. Not only did it evangelize digital music through "Rip. Mix. Burn" campaign's use of the subculture's lexicon, but it also increased the number of Apple users participating in a previously PC dominated MP3 world by 30%. Even amid the risk of promoting controversial behavior, to date, 3 million copies of iTunes have been downloaded.

The introduction of IBM Software's "Software Evangelist" campaign marked a milestone in the corporation's efforts to put a stake in the ground around software. In an increasingly crowded, fast moving and cutthroat market, it was clear that the creative had to break-through as well as leverage all that was powerful from the IBM brand. The insight behind the campaign was that with the recent explosion of new technologies and the importance placed upon them, a great opportunity for IBM lay in convincing people that the attributes once only relevant for the largest companies (reliable, scaleable and secure), were now very relevant for today's e-businesses. Furthermore, IBM was the only company to bring them to you.
