​Call for Entry: 5 For 50


Effie is celebrating its 50th Anniversary as the leading authority on marketing effectiveness. 
 
Kicking off the celebration is the launch of 5 For 50. This special award will recognize the five most consistently effective brands over the past 50 years who have made Effie history, remained relevant and continued to sustain business over time and into the future. 
 
Brands that have won more than one Effie Award over more than one year are eligible to enter. 
 
Entry Deadlines run 6 February - 13 February 2019.

Effie Collegiate Introduces 2019 Brand Challenge by Subaru


Effie United States and Subaru of America have announced their partnership to present the 2019 Effie Collegiate U.S. challenge.  

The challenge will ask college students to reinvent the experience of buying a car to meet the expectations of Millennials and Gen Z.

Following the results-driven Effie Awards model, students will create an integrated marketing plan to effectively reach their audience. Entries will be judged by a jury of marketing industry professionals, with finalists presenting to the Subaru brand team.

Call for entries will open January 2019.

Veronica Parker-Hahn has joined Effie Worldwide as SVP of Growth & Innovation.

Parker-Hahn brings nearly 20 years of agency and client-side experience to the organization, with an emphasis on developing and scaling marketing strategies for growing businesses.

MENA Effie Awards Celebrates 10th Anniversary, Announces Winners


The 10th anniversary of the MENA Effie Awards took place on November 7 at the Armani Downtown in Dubai, bringing together agencies and clients from the regional industry to celebrate the best marketing campaigns.

This year saw a ten percent increase in entries resulting in a total of 28 Gold, 45 Silver and 18 Bronze Effies awarded.

2018 Euro Effie Awards Winners Announced


The 2018 EACA Euro Effies winners were announced in Brussels on 17 October. Ogilvy won the Agency of the Year Award, and the Grand Effie for outstanding work was presented to Ogilvy Social Lab for their campaign The Mud Soldier for Visit Flanders.
