Busan Metropolitan Police Agency & Cheil Worldwide win the Grand Effie Award for “Stop Downloadkill” at the 5th Effie Awards Korea


Effie Awards Korea held its 5th annual ceremony on June 14, 2018. The Grand Effie was awarded to “Stop Downloadkill” by the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency & Cheil Worldwide, a campaign launched to curb the online distribution of hidden camera videos. Thirteen additional trophies were awarded across 11 categories.

Canada's CASSIES Join Global Effie Awards Network to Become Effie Canada


Effie Worldwide, in partnership with the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA), is pleased to announce the launch of Effie Canada

The Canadian CASSIES Awards are joining the global Effie Awards network to become Effie Canada, led by the ICA. The move will allow Effie to root deeply in Canada and expand its reach to more marketers in the region, while better putting Canadian marketing effectiveness on the global stage.

Effie Worldwide’s North American program will merge with the CASSIES, creating Effie Canada and Effie United States, and will kick off the 2019 call for entries cycle this Fall.

Effie Awards Serbia 2018: Leo Burnett/Publicis One & Vip Mobile Awarded First Ever Gold Effie


On June 13, 2018, Effie Serbia held its 2nd Annual Awards Gala in Belgrade to honor ideas that worked. Over 150 marketing communications professionals attended.
 
History was made with the first Gold Effie to ever be awarded in the Serbia competition, earned by Leo Burnett/Publicis One and Vip Mobile for the “Be NEO” campaign.

Winners of the 2018 North American Shopper Marketing Effie Awards were celebrated at the Path to Purchase Institute's P2PSummit on March 13, 2018.

Mondelēz, Kimberly-Clark and Unilever were among the most effective marketers at the 2018 North American Shopper Marketing Effie Awards. Geometry Global earned a total of 10 Shopper Marketing Effies, the most of any agency in this year's competition.
