MENA Effie Awards Celebrates 10th Anniversary, Announces Winners


The 10th anniversary of the MENA Effie Awards took place on November 7 at the Armani Downtown in Dubai, bringing together agencies and clients from the regional industry to celebrate the best marketing campaigns.

This year saw a ten percent increase in entries resulting in a total of 28 Gold, 45 Silver and 18 Bronze Effies awarded.

2018 Effie Awards Chile Winners Announced


43 trophies were awarded at the 28th annual Effie Awards Chile ceremony, incuding the Grand Effie to Polla Chilena de Beneficencia and Young & Rubicam Chile for their “You are already a millionaire” campaign.

Santander was named Advertiser of the Year, and Young & Rubicam Chile was named Agency of the Year.

On October 18, the 2nd Annual Effie Awards Panama gala was held in Panama City.

In addition to the eight trophies presented, the Grand Effie was awarded to Visa and BBDO Panamá for the campaign "Visa Débito una tarjeta para todo."

The EFFIE Effect: DDB, Lotto NZ, Netsafe Awarded Top Honors at 2018 Effie Awards NZ Gala


New Zealand’s marketing industry professionals gathered on October 18 to celebrate the country’s most effective work at the 2018 NZ Effie Awards, organised by the Commercial Communications Council in association with TVNZ.

DDB New Zealand and Lotto NZ were awarded the Grand Effie for the "Imagine" campaign, along with two Gold awards. DDB was also named Most Effective Agency of the Year, and Netsafe was named Most Effective Client of the Year.

The 2018 EACA Euro Effies winners were announced in Brussels on 17 October. Ogilvy won the Agency of the Year Award, and the Grand Effie for outstanding work was presented to Ogilvy Social Lab for their campaign The Mud Soldier for Visit Flanders.

Latin American Effie Awards Announces Winners of Third Annual Competition


The Latin American Effie Awards announced winners of its third edition on October 4. A total of 79 trophies were awarded, including the Grand Effie to David Buenos Aires for their campaign “Super Promo Noblex”, for Newsan. Sancho BBDO was named Agency of the Year, BBDO was named Network of the Year and Coca-Cola earned the title of Marketer of the Year.
