Won't Wake The Baby
To increase sales during IKEA’s bedroom event and show that the brand is an expert on sleep, we launched ‘Won’t Wake the Baby,’ directed at a particular audience who needed a good nights’ rest the most: the parents of newborn babies. We targeted all the sleep playlists for babies on Spotify, and replaced all the loud ads that would interrupt a baby’s sleep with quiet, shushy ones talking about IKEA’s full range of sleep solutions. Category sales increased by 7.1% but most importantly, we didn’t wake any babies.
