Second, more MoonPie products were sold in the two weeks leading up to the 2017 Solar Eclipse than were sold in all of 2016 online. Finally, two days after the Eclipse, the factory had to shut down due to enormous demand for MoonPies — the bakery could not restock the raw materials used to make the products fast enough.

​Para el 2018 no podíamos quedarnos atrás. Chocolinas tenía seguir creciendo en FRECUENCIA DE CONSUMO, y VERSATILIDAD. Por eso, decidimos PROFUNDIZAR EL MENSAJE LLEVANDO MÁS AL FRENTE LA VERSATILIDAD (POTENCIANDO LOS DIVERSOS USOS DEL PRODUCTO, DEMOSTRANDO PROCESOS Y FINALES DE PREPARACIONES VARIADAS), y además, INCLUIR A LOS ADULTOS en el mensaje de forma natural. Así, creamos PONELE A TODO CHOCOLINAS. La campaña superó los objetivos iniciales, alcanzando resultados en ventas en kilos, SOM, ventas internas ARCOR, a nivel FRECUENCIA DE CONSUMO, logramos construir versatilidad. A nivel comunicación alcanzamos los objetivos de impacto y recordación a nivel comunicación, y logramos atraer a los ADULTOS, quienes también interactuaron con la marca en Instagram.
