Primarily, the purpose of the "Xerox. The Color of Business" campaign was to utilize Xerox's DocuColor 40 and its superior color technology as a catalyst to firmly establish the Xerox brand as the leader in color copy/printing. Secondarily, the purpose was to stimulate active consideration for Xerox color products. The campaign was designed to help Xerox meet their aggressive marketing objectives and sales goals.

The "Fridays Free" campaign from Sprint Business was developed to reinvigorate Sprint's performance in the small business segment. By offering small business the ability to do more business, not just save money, Sprint was able to signifigantly improve new customer aquisition as well as retention of current customers. And this was accomplished within an extremely competitive marketplace, against more heavily supported brands.
