Cheesecake Is Everything

In a category where interest is driven by product innovation, repositioning a classic dessert as the hottest item to bring to your holiday parties was a challenging ambition. While desserts represent a hub for creativity to consumers, consumers saw cheesecakes as boring. That was until we leveraged the “is it cake” trend, a movement that got people recreating hyper-realistic objects that were actually cake. By jumping on the trend, we effectively got people to bake “cheesecakes” that looked like expensive holiday gifts, increasing both Household Penetration and Cheesecake Baking behavior.
