Sainsbury's - Mog's Christmas Calamity

Despite an extremely tough trading environment, Sainsbury's 2015 Christmas campaign featuring Mog the cat surpassed all expectations delivering a profit ROI over £24.34 per £1 spent. We put £36 million more through our tills than 2014, growing market share and securing 2nd market position back from Asda , defying all predictions.With over 30 million views, our video 'Mog's Christmas Calamity' also broke records to become the most viewed UK Christmas ad on YouTube ever. And, it was a win-win for brand and cause as we raised over £1.6M for Save The Children.

11.11 JD Red Story

在双十一期间,有一类人群是不容忽视的,那就是快递小哥,“小哥”是京东独有的、最重要的品牌资产。带着这样的策略思考,我们决定通过打造特色快递员的故事,来表达京东对消费者的责任、态度以及温度,传递“11.11京东在你身边”品牌主张。我们甄选出11位人文摄影师,去全国实地拍摄小哥送货的场景,在实践中反复调整和完善的过程后。最终,完成了这11副真实又具备感染力的小哥故事。
During 11.11 Festival, there is a group of people that cannot be ignored. "Courier Brother" is the unique and most important brand asset of JD. With such strategic thinking, we decided to express Jingdong's responsibility, attitude and temperature to consumers by creating a story of a special courier and pass the "11.11 Jingdong at your side" brand proposition. We selected 11 humanities photographers to go to the country to shoot the scene of the delivery of the couriers, after repeated adjustment and improvement in practice. In the end, I completed the 11 real and infectious courier stories.

In 2015, John Lewis took a brave new approach to their Christmas advertising. Partnering with AgeUK, John Lewis used their ads to highlight the fact that many old people spend Christmas alone. The benefits to AgeUK were huge, raising over £2m. But the payback to John Lewis was even bigger, resulting in record sales and market share. With every £1 spent on advertising delivering over £10 in extra profit for the department store, this case shows that advertising can be a force for good and a sound financial investment.
