As mail revenue steadily declines, e-commerce package delivery represents the future for USPS. But only 38 percent of medium businesses agreed, USPS wants to help me grow my business. This disconnect with mid-sized growing businesses prevented us from making the most of the e-commerce boom. UPS: United Problem Solvers
By inviting people to bring UPS their problems, whatever they may be, we challenged entrenched perceptions of this historic brand. Instead of being a shipping company bought by shipping managers, we positioned UPS as a problem-solving company, enabling it to engage senior decision makers, seek higher-value accounts and boost sales and consideration in the growing export and supply chain markets. The campaign significantly shifted key metrics in this utilitarian and low-interest category by putting UPS' human capital, rather than its logistics network, front and center.

Wishes Delivered
The 2013 holiday season wasnt great for UPS. The combination of bad weather and last-minute e-commerce orders pushed the network past its limits. The public wasnt pleased, and took to social media to vent their dissatisfaction. In 2014, we needed to build up goodwill, and regain our position as a source of holiday cheer. We solicited holiday wishes from around the country, and granted them some big, some small, some truly magical. Social sentiment shifted to positive, and one very special wish went viral, garnering 45 million views!
