Youth Tobacco Prevention
Houston Effler developed a multi-media advertising campaign to combat tobacco use via prevention messages targeted to teens and pre-teens. The campaign employed many tried and true practices as well as some unique strategies to communicate compelling reasons not to smoke. The results reflected overwhelmingly high awareness (89%), equal to that of pro-tobacco advertising. And, among the ad-aware, we have evidence of initial attitude shifts.
