Changing Education To Keep Girls In School

Every year 23 million girls drop out of school. One chapter that could save them, was never printed in schoolbooks due to a taboo against menstruation. We created history and wrote the Missing Chapter explaining the biology behind periods. It was read out in our film, through news readers on TV, by citizens on social media. Local artists from 25 states painted the chapter on school walls creating hand-painted native wall-art, for girls living in media-dark areas. Petition to include it in schoolbooks was committed to by key state governments.

Pero en #NormalicemosLaRegla, KOTEX decidió hacer algo más arriesgado:simular que le venía la regla en vivo a Amy Gutiérrez. Esta acción, primero volvió tendencia a Amy, luego al#NormalicemosLaregla e incluso a KOTEX, logrando que +100 medios y +50 celebridades se unan a la conversación.Luego, al develar que todo fue parte de una campaña, los medios tocaronla problemática relacionada a Salud Menstrual. Gracias a esta campaña +80% de niñas y adolescentes,dejaron de ver la regla como una enfermedad.

Voices redefining beauty

Seeking to strengthen its connection with young Arab women in the GCC, Sephora ventured beyond typical beauty promotions. Instead, turned the spotlight onto the diverse and eloquent voices of these young women, and gave them a platform to share their own definition of beauty in their own voices – redefining beauty. Leveraging influential Arab figures, emerging talents from Saudi Idol, and young artists and musicians, we amplified the voices of progressive, young Arab women. In turn, Sephora boosted its popularity, sales and meaningfulness for young Arab women.
