Canon Truthmark

In today’s world of deep-fakes, photoshop and fake news, images are increasingly mis-used. Photographers, whose raison d'être is to document reality, have little power over how to protect their imagery. For Canon to reconnect with its core audience, we created Truthmark – a platform functioning like an “image bank of truth”. Here photographers can upload and protect their photos by attaching the real story behind. In doing so, we show how a category-relevant insight can infuse a brand with a new purpose and increase market share from 26% to 33.5%.

Sleeping Flags; a small action with massive impact

O.N.E were a small, unknown charity providing critical services to homeless veterans in Ireland. Each year was a struggle to keep the lights on. But how do you get people to pay attention to a charity that helps people who aren’t considered as being vulnerable? While many charities use empathy to attract donations. We used shame.

BOLT is a fantastic example of how strong customer insight of the whole category can be creatively communicated by the market challenger in a moment of a highest product relevance and lead to a multiple growth without budget overspending. Moreover, this campaign reloaded BOLT’s corporate understanding of creative communications effectiveness. Before November 2019 BOLT was totally focused just on CPA campaigns via Google and Facebook, investing in discounts as a main tool for conversion. Our campaign became the very first (and successful) trial of creative approach and emotional brand communication.
