It's Safer and Easier in the Ear
The Thermoscan Instant Thermometer has literally transformed the thermometer category in the U.S. in the past four years. Mental Health Information Line
This campaign was designed to promote Iowa Methodist Medical Center and Iowa Lutheran Hospital's "Mental Health Information Line" (an 800-number) to a central Iowa audience. The campaign was designed to increase inquires to both hospitals, increase awareness of the service area, and assist local consumers in getting the help they may require. Since the campaign was first used in February, 1994, call volume has doubled, with a significant portion of the calls being directly attributed to the advertising campaign.

Perspectives
MSK's Perspectives campaign successfully achieved its goals. First, it increased unaided awareness by 80% in the post-advertising test. Secondly, in terms of leadership, a test of the attitudes toward MSK revealed that the public strongly believes it to be not only expert in the field, but the "best cancer care center in America." Finally, the Perspectives campaign promoted the Physician Referral Service, designed to make MSK and cancer information easily accessible to the public. Despite a modest advertising budget and a cluttered marketplace, MSK has set itself apart from the competition in terms of awareness levels and public perceptions.
