Mach Drop: Selling Vehicles Like Sneakers
To generate demand and excitement for Mustang Mach-E, Ford rereleased a batch of its limited quantity First Editions against a rapidly approaching production deadline. By targeting a niche audience Ford had never spoken to before, and uncovering their shopping affinity for pop culture merchandize, we turned to sneaker sales for inspiration and ‘dropped’ the Mach-E for order unannounced across three select hype culture environments. As a result, we were able to convert 44% of our leads into orders and generate incremental revenue 200x our budget.

Delay Your Way
How could Burger King drive efficient sales during the holidays? By making the awful experience of holiday travel go a little bit more “your way.” “Delay Your Way” geotargeted airports and exchanged delayed holiday flights for a free burger—only through the BK App. Our surgical $67K social media and CRM campaign turned letdowns into downloads, loyalty and digital sales for BK, because the best time to deepen affinity with your customers is when they’ve been let down by someone else’s brand.

Whopper Detour
To attract shoppers and generate excitement about its revamped mobile app with order-ahead functionality, BK skipped the typical offer, leveraging a powerful insight: with the new app, anywhere can be a place to order a Whopper—even a McDonald’s—turning their much larger footprint into ours. Rewarding shoppers (many lapsed and new) with a $0.01 Whopper (when ordered from McD’s), we invited them to engage in the trolling fun–crushing our downloads KPI, hitting #1 on app stores, delivering millions of downloads in 9 days, millions of incremental-revenue value, and 37:1 ROI.
