Compliance 2007
For years SNWA has been telling residents to conserve water. Living in the desert, you would think that they would listen. At first they did, but it became apparent that more was needed. This was serious. No more Mr. Nice Public Utility. Targeting the residents in charge of watering, we were able to reduce water usage in the valley.

Why You Teach
The New Orleans Recovery School District (RSD) needed 500 teachers to accomodate a large expected influx of fall 2007 students. We had less than three months to develop and launch a campaign and attract enough applicants to meet this goal. We'd missed the typical recruiting window, and had to sell potential applicants on working in post-Katrina New Orleans, in a system that had consistently been ranked as one of the worst in the country. In the end, the RSD received 1,100 applications, and opened its schools fully staffed!

Scratch Gift Giving
Washington's Lottery wanted to boost Scratch ticket sales by another $10 million dollars. But where those extra sales were going to come from was not particularly obvious. We had no new games or prizes with which to attract new players, and our core players' spending ability was maxed out. So, rather than try to get people to play more Scratch, we realized that the solution was to get them GIVE more Scratch. And, thus the 2005 holiday gift-giving campaign was born.
