The official beer of an unoffcial Warsaw.
Warsaw is clearly different from the national market. The beer shelf is more diversified here: the share of beer novelties in the value of sales is over 50% higher than the average in Poland, and that of specialty beers almost 3 times higher. Traditional lagers find it increasingly difficult to defend their position. The “Królewskie” has been successful in spite of its corporate roots which defy the loyalty trend consumers are seeking. The brand has avoided the polarizing themes related to Warsaw and referred to the local contexts at the level of districts, managing to make the brand emotionally close to Warsaw residents and allowing it to take the first place on the most competitive market in Poland.

Żywiec faced the challenge of lowering emotional distance between the brand and the consumer. We had to find an idea through which Żywiec- a large, iconic Polish beer, would stand out, strengthen brand image and engage contemporary consumer. Campaign helped to stop sales decline trend of its flagship variant - Żywiec lager. At the same time, the campaign was the most discussed and most noticeable beer campaign of 2016, proving that the combination of the right strategy and the unique creative yields outstanding business results.
