Jersey Mike’s has big ambitions to grow in a category dominated by Subway’s omnipresence and convenience. We needed to bring our authentic Jersey sub love to the forefront. In an integrated, 360-degree campaign, we enlisted Danny DeVito— the ultimate Jersey Mike’s superfan— to highlight what sets us apart in an authentic, endearing way. The results spoke for themselves. Same store sales increased by 10.3%, along with a 4.1% increase in penetration and a 3.5x increase in social chatter around the brand.
