Call of Duty: Warzone’s newest update would take the game into WWII, an era modern gamers perceive as slow and unexciting. Rather than focus on the era, we brought the game’s setting, tropical island Caldera, to life in an explosive way. As over 50% of our audience follow travel influencers, we “invited” them to visit Caldera, where we transformed their beautiful island footage into a glimpse of the chaotic fun gamers should expect from Warzone. This influencer activation generated 15.3 million earned media impressions with no media budget.
