Raisins are a beloved, naturally sweet snack 364 days of the year, but candy rules Halloween. On this night, raisins are deemed a forbidden fruit, the disgrace of trick or treaters’ bags. This Halloween, we redefined spooky and turned Sun-Maid’s worst night of the year into a massive PR opportunity by creating the spookiest raisin house ever—the Sun-Maid Raisin House—in Halloween-obsessed Merchantville, New Jersey. We also extended the experience to audiences everywhere on TikTok. The program received 1.4 billion impressions.
