SUMMARY

This is the story of how EBM – set out to create an uncharted space in the Cake Category and increase its total productivity in the cake category by launching Smile – a donut shaped cake. By going after an unconventional audience, tweens, and reminding them about the reasons of smiling through their increasingly serious lives, Smile was able to achieve 1.1 billion in sales in the first 7 months and increase total productivity of EBM ‘s cake category from 45% to 72%.
