Visit Saudi have been busy building brand equity since 2019. With awareness in Saudi up, we looked for ways to grow visitor numbers from neighboring countries and conquest travelers from our Middle-Eastern competitors. OTA and airline data led us to our key insight. Millions of travelers were already coming to Saudi from neighbouring countries, but at 35,000 feet as they passed through Saudi airspace on a long-haul trip further East or West. Our data-driven insight and targeted media persuaded them to stopover in Saudi as part of their trip.
