SUMMARY
Covid–19 forced change. This had a severe impact on malls. Even after restrictions were lifted people were hesitant to visit.
Mall of the Emirates was set to showcase the World’s largest Banksy Exhibition and needed to create curiosity around the artist and exhibition.
To give people a true taste of Banksy’s arrival, we vandalized the mall. An outrageous feat, considering Dubai’s cleanliness standards and attitude towards anything rebellious.
The Banksy Exhibition was sold out for three months straight. This meant the desired additional footfall directly accountable to this activity.
