SUMMARY
Detergent brand OMO piggybacked on the global superheroes blockbusters and their famous post-credits scenes to boost sales and trial with millennials in Lebanon. Placed at the end of movies, the OMO ads showed a washing machine in a laundry room. A familiar superhero costume lay atop. On the opposite countertop: a 2.5L bottle of OMO liquid detergent in all its glory. A copy read: “After the battle, remove villain stains in a snap of a finger”. This creative hijack of pop culture was supported by sampling and coupons.
