In Jordan, Lebanon and Egypt, SMBs represent the backbone of the economy. COVID-19 caused a dramatic shift to online ordering, cutting the lifeline of those small traditional businesses.
Leveraging the insight that “small businesses are not just businesses; they are people,” Facebook launched #LoveLocal to help local SMBs amplify their voice and generate consumer demand for them across the region.
The campaign received 4,745,972$ of earned media with 200+ stories and more than 11,000 SMBs got the support they needed to equip their business for the digital age.
