In Hong Kong, HSBC was put under the media spotlight. It was seen as a big bank for only big businesses and couldn’t provide the right support for innovative startups.
Therefore, HSBC became the first ever in its industry to step into the ecosystems of innovative businesses. With its most ambitious initiative to date, HSBC introduced the Innovation Business Exchange – a series of initiatives that included an Innovation Summit, Documentary series, a hijack of Rugby Sevens and a Co-working space collaboration.
