In order to overcome consecutive quarters of customer losses in their profitable internet business, Shaw launched a mobility offer for their existing customers only, rather than new customers.
This resulted in the business going from losing 5K customers a quarter, to gaining 5K customers a quarter. Shaw Mobile achieved the same customer base penetration 2-3 years faster than US peers with the same strategy.
