SUMMARY
Harley-Davidson values the freedom of the open road for all, but culturally it’s seen as an “old white man’s brand”. In 2018, Ontario exempted Sikh motorcycle riders from wearing a helmet, protecting their faith, but risking head injury. Pfaff Harley-Davidson saw this as an opportunity to demonstrate, not just state, Harley-Davidson’s commitment to inclusion. Enter, Tough Turban - an innovative design solution for Sikh riders to no longer need to choose between faith and safety. This inclusive initiative that changed the minds of Canadians about Harley-Davidson and turned heads globally.
