SUMMARY
For over 100 years, Lifebuoy has aimed to be a lifesaver for people trapped in the stormy seas of infectious disease. By the end of March 2020, India was gripped by the perfect storm of infectious disease – COVID-19. True to its purpose, rather than promoting itself as a superior germ protection soap, Lifebuoy chose to protect people, by promoting regular handwashing with any soap, not just Lifebuoy.
