SUMMARY
In 2018, the Supreme Court of India allowed people to create living wills, a document that enables them to spell out their wishes for treatment in case they slip into an incurable coma or vegetative state. However, the longer people thought about living wills, the higher were the chances of them abandoning the process of making one. Through a powerfully simple act, over a million pre-printed living wills were sent directly to people's homes, which helped over 5,960 Indians sign up for a dignified death.
