In 2017, Goldman Sachs made its first big move into consumer banking with the launch of ‘Marcus by Goldman Sachs.’ It was battling in a highly competitive, inert category trying to grow its business. We set out to break the category inertia and empower people to make better money decisions with ‘You Can Money.’ With the campaign, Marcus by Goldman Sachs was able to not only grow its brand, but also deliver a positive ROI by driving significant growth in account signups and deposits.
