This Christmas campaign turned the business around from steep decline to the first year-on-year billings growth since 2018. Achieved by tapping into an audience tension – they love Christmas more than anyone but don’t have the funds to make it happen. We crafted a unique narrative and bravely addressed a range of emotions, including often-ignored negative ones, to establish a genuine brand role. Despite a reduced media budget, this not only resonated deeply with our Christmas-obsessed audience during a cost-of-living crisis, but also strengthened the brand's position in making Christmas truly special.
