SUMMARY

The Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence believes we can reduce gun violence through common sense regulations. We contrasted the manufacturing regulations for teddy bears and for guns and created the Teddy Gun, a tragically ironic but powerful symbol of the lack of regulation for guns. The result: A critically important common sense gun regulation ( Illinois Senate Bill 1657) passed the Illinois Senate for the first time.
