Saudi Arabia’s e-sports industry has record-breaking potential and consumption. To join the action and connect with gamers, stc launched stc play, the first locally-relevant platform, and cut through well-established competition by speaking their language: “This is your place”. We totally gamified communication, starting with an ‘intro film’ that lured them into the world of stc play. Gamers joined tournaments, shared game-plays, and even enjoyed a newly-launched dedicated stc Lan4. From telecom to 5G, stc’s sales increased. And as gamers finally found a home in stc play, stc changed the game.
