With Vodafone, wanting to reestablish themselves as a leader in the data-tariff market, they had to think differently, and communicate relatively. By subtly invading TikTok, through an established content creator, and the use of original content, Vodafone successfully launched their new data platform through the use of a TikTok bundle. By speaking the language of the consumer, Vodafone was able to launch its data platform, Vodafone Plus, with significant interest, gaining around 2.5% of the market share alone through this bundle.
