SUMMARY

WeLab Bank, a small, local virtual bank in Hong Kong managed to convert young customers of the century-old leading banks and their virtual cousins to bank with it. Seeing the trust issue of young segment against virtual banks, WeLab Bank showed deep community love and used the campaign to play a part in preserving one of the most important cornerstones of the young HongKonger identity – the Cantonese language. The campaign drove 41%+ NTB applications VS target, and 3.3X increase of young consumer base expansion in just one month.
