2019 Call For Entries
Call for Entries is now open for the 2019 Effie Awards United States competition. Now in its 50th year, the Effie Awards recognize the most effective marketing communications – ideas that work.
This year, the Shopper Marketing Effies introduces new “E-Commerce” and “Digital Media Solutions” categories.
All marketing efforts, whether full campaigns or unique efforts within a campaign, that ran in the United States between September 1, 2017 and August 31, 2018 are eligible to enter (exceptions apply).

First: October 11, 2018 ($975)
Second: October 18, 2018 ($1,425)
Third: November 1, 2018 ($2,195)
Final: November 8, 2018 ($2,595)

Canada's CASSIES Join Global Effie Network to Become Effie Canada
Effie Worldwide, in partnership with the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA), is pleased to announce the launch of Effie Canada.
The CASSIES Awards, which have honored marketing ROI in Canada since 1993, are joining the global Effie Awards network to become Effie Canada. The transformation of the CASSIES into Effie Canada is being led by the ICA to better put Canadian marketing effectiveness on the global stage. This move will allow Effie to root more deeply in Canada and expand its reach to more marketers in the region.
Effie Worldwide’s North American program will merge with the CASSIES, creating Effie Canada and Effie United States, and will kick off during the 2019 call for entries cycle, launching Fall 2018.

2018 Shopper Marketing Effie Winners Celebrated at P2PSummit
Winners of the 2018 North American Shopper Marketing Effie Awards were celebrated at the Path to Purchase Institute's P2PSummit on Marh 13, 2018.
Mondelēz, Kimberly-Clark and Unilever were among the most effective marketers at the 2018 North American Shopper Marketing Effie Awards, which were awarded tonight at the Path to Purchase Institute's Shopper Marketing Celebration. Geometry Global won a total of 10 Shopper Marketing Effies, by far the most of any agency in this year's competition.
Shopper Marketing Effie Awards honor the most effective integrated campaigns designed to engage the shopper and guide the purchase process. Shopper Marketing Effie case studies are scored and debated over two rounds of judging and must have the insight, creativity and results to earn an Effie Award.
