Chimelong Safari Park, The Friends Around You are Disappearing
In China, there are 592 species of endangered animals. Except for the well-known star animals like Panda, many ordinary endangered animals are ignored by people.
We find that subordinate emotion can arise instinctively between people and animals. Once the intimate relationship is established between them, it will stimulate the innate sense of responsibility of people. Therefore, we divided the national territory into different regions, matched with corresponding animals, and launched a campaign themed “The friends around you are disappearing”. Through LBS technology, people could see the endangered animals near them at QQ Space and WeChat Friends Circle, so as to encourage them to protect animals.
One week since the campaign launched, it generated over 93 million exposures, received thousands of people’s online donation through Tencent Pubic Welfare.
