Global Multi-Region Effie Awards Update (effective January 2026) 

The Global Multi-Region Effie Awards have been proudly recognizing and celebrating the most effective marketing efforts that run across multiple regions worldwide for over 20 years. This competition has always focused on a select and elite group of campaigns due to the immense degree of challenge involved in effectively delivering and measuring marketing programs na a global scale, spanning languages and cultures.  
 
As we reflect on the industry today and look toward the future, we have made the carefully considered decision to retire the Global Multi-Region competition in its current format. This change will take effect in January 2026, and more information about the evolution of our Global Effie Awards platform will be shared in due course. The Global Best of the Best Effie Awards remains open to all Gold and Grand Effie winners from across the worldwide Effie network, and all dates and details for our 2026 local, regional, and global awards can be found online. 
 
Over the years, it’s been a privilege to spotlight globally iconic campaigns and the teams behind them, like Apple and TBWA\Chiat\Day’s “iPod Silhouettes”, Mastercard and McCann’s “Priceless”, P&G and Leo Burnett’s “Always #LikeAGirl”, Burger King a INGO Stockholm’s “Moldy Whopper,” a many more.  Thank you to everyone who has entered, judged, and supported these special awards over the years. There has been so much incredible learning to come out of this competition, and we are grateful to everyone who has been involved.
