If you fall out of the top 20 chocolate bar rankings in Canada, its a death warrant. That was the fate awaiting Kit Kat Chunky. But in 2010, we found a way to reverse Kit Kats fortunes. Chunky was competing in a category of big chocolate bars that were meant to satisfy hunger cravings, but the Chunky was considered a light eat compared to its competitors. So we redefined the word big: instead of offering a big eat, we would offer a big hit of chocolate.
