Circle K operates in a category the vast majority of people think little about; convenience retailing. That is of course until they find themselves in a moment of need. In these moments, most people make a pragmatic choice and default to what’s close. This results in a highly interchangeable category with little to no differentiation amongst brands. Circle K challenged that norm and changed behaviours by establishing itself as an essential lifeline for necessities whenever and wherever they’re needed.
