SUMMARY
Sargento® Balanced Breaks® snacks launched in 2015, igniting years of growth for the dairy snack kit category. However, competition began overcrowding the shelf. Millennials became harder to reach too, being less on-the-go and choosing more indulgent foods. When category sales plateaued, thinking outside the box was necessary. So, Sargento partnered with Mondelez International® to launch a line extension: Balanced Breaks® Cheese & Crackers. Our bite-sized, iconic combinations and beatbox-inspired campaign tuned in Millennials and tuned out competitors. Exceeding all expectations, the innovation became the most successful launch in Sargento history.
